An everyday mobile makes an everyday journalist

Continuing the subject of  the most recent post, the mobile phone’s usage to permeate the news agenda and unfold inadequate information was seen recently between the converged versions of the print and online release of The Guardian newspaper.  The footage of Ian Tomlinson’s assault at the G20 summit, displayed the interrelationship between the Internet and the citizen journalist.

But, this piece public journalism was shot by a man from New York on business in London – he wasn’t looking for a story, he just used the tools of modern technology and the global distribution of the Internet.  The video of Ian Tomlinson that was present on The Guradian’s website can be see below…
